We found the seal hauled out on a mudbank this morning and I've managed to gather some more information on it now.
It has a green tag on its flipper with the number 43 on it and has been released by the CornishSeal Sanctuary after rehab.
Probably released at Gwithian near Hayle.
Not got the dates yet but will post them later.

I think this is the same Common Seal,I took photos of at Hayle the head injury,mark seems to be identical.
