Along the shoreline at Marazion

Spent a few hours on the shoreline at Marazion and Penzance yesterday afternoon.

The light was the usual dull colur but it was a Cornwall Wildlife Trust Photographic Group field trip so we just "went for it"..

The tide was out an awful long way and the gulls seemed to be eating starfish, perhaps they were easier to find on the spring tide,

Wonderful pictures. Did you really take all these Sunday in Marazion and Penzance? I was on the beach at Marazion and saw only Oystercatchers plus the odd Sandpiper..

Thanks Alex,
Yes they were all along that shoreline. The godwits & sanderling up by the mount causeway. The purple sands, turnstones & black redstart at Battery Rocks by the swimmimg pool. The gulls were also there feeding on the starfish. 2 Eider were also there but I fell asleep when loading the images online so they didn't appear!. A whole day out & I was k****ered!!

nice set of photos Adrian, surprising what you can find in one place in one day . I like the GBB Gulls with the Starfish.
Cheers
