Butterflies

An hour or so out with the dogs in the lane behind my house yielded some good butterflies this morning. It was great weather and they were just warming up before spending the day on the wing.

Fantastic. There seems to be fewer around up here in North Devon this year but you seem to be doing OK. Lots of Graylings on Lundy last year. Was it the Marbled white we used to get along the old railway line? I wonder if its still there.

I think they've gone from the old North Cornwall line above Hingham Mill but are still plentiful on the dunes & golf course behind Daymer Bay.
